Before I tell you why I started this website, let me tell you a quick story.

I’m the fourth Walter Stroup. In a row.

Walter Stroup #1 before Read Gold Now

My great-grandfather ran a newspaper. He was orphaned at the age of thirteen and sold newspapers on the train. At the end of his life, he lived in a penthouse overlooking Broadway. And for several generations, my family has enjoyed the fruits of his entrepreneurial spirit.

So why should you care?

Walter #1 gave gamblers a competitive advantage on horse betting by supplying the latest stats from the track. He understood his audience and controlled the distribution of his product in a local market. This yielded fantastic revenue.

And revenue is what separates a hobby from a career. Without revenue generation, a business is not a business. It is a hobby. And I see so many small businesses that do not control their distribution or fail to market and sell their solution with sufficient fervor.

The goal of Read Gold Now is to form a community of people that focus on revenue generation. Each day, nuggets of gold will be delivered into your mailbox so that you can answer questions like:

What are the ways that people are generating revenue effectively?

How can your solution stand out in a crowded marketplace?

How do you create your own distribution systems without relying entirely on corporate giants?

About me:

Walter Stroup #4 the Founder of Read Gold Now

I started my career as the Co-Founder of an EdTech company. A prototype of my work was used by four-hundred thousand students without error. Despite these results, the company was struggling financially. So I started writing sales emails.

We then signed our first contract with Portland, Oregon ISD.

Since that time, I've sold for big brands like AT&T and Lowe's as well as SMBs. Given enough time and focus, I can turn word documents into revenue.

In my free time, I write haikus, exercise in the park, and keep up with friends and family.
